picture A, looking NW
BNSF engine 2091/GP38-2, built 11/1974 on the main track in the Sumas switching yard. The solitary engine was moving S with a small consist. BNSF engine 2087/GP38-2, built 5/1972 was stationary and idling on the side track directly behind 2091 as I took this picture. The top of the wooded knoll, Moe's Hill, a local landmark can be seen on the right. Thanks for visiting Railfan in Sumas, WA., a visual diary of rail transport in my community.
