BNSF switchers 2281/GP38-2, built 7/1974 and 2723/GP39-2, built 4/1981, as bookends, bringing three hoppers S on the spur through the Sumas Industrial park, on it's way to the main track. This picture taken from Halverstick Rd. between Van St. and Bob Mitchell Ave., Sumas, WA, 1/2 mile S of the International boundary. The wooded knoll on the left is Moe's Hill, a local landmark.
