sunny, BNSF switchers 2091/GP38-2 and 2000/GP38-2, 1 pm and 3 pm, 11 Nov 2015

BNSF engines 2091/GP38-2, built 11/1974 and 2000/GP38-2, built 7/1967 stationary and idling on the main line in Sumas, WA.  This picture taken at 1 pm from the intersection of Railroad St. and Second St., three blocks south of the International Boundary. The wooded knoll in the background is Moe's Hill, a Sumas landmark and vantage spot for photographers since 1891, the year Sumas was incorporated as a city.
